This is one of my favorite songs of all my life, I used to listen to it on repeat religiously when I was younger and very determined to learn english as fast as I could and, well, ( ̄▽ ̄*)ゞ... I can speak english better now, — with some mistakes here and there to add some tompero as Chef Jacquin would say. Starlight is also the inspiration for Stellyfer, the name of this blog.
For now i'm gonna leave here some things i'm currently consuming as recommendations. in the future i intend expanding this section and/or writing longer commentaries on these topics but I need more tIME (ಥ﹏ಥ) ♪*...if i could save time in a bottle...*♪
the links will redirect you to spotify or youtube. the ones on spotify are mine, the ones on youtube are not.

Alkyone | I just fell in love with her music. Her music is so full of emotions expressed in such a delicate and powerful way, it's like being surrounded by clouds of magic melody; on top of that her renditions of traditional Greek songs are simply beautiful and just makes my admiration for her work and culture (and my desire to learn Greek) even bigger. She was one of my last discoveries of 2024, and maybe the best (her only rival being Malice Mizer). Go listen to her songs right now; no, you have no choice! Go go go! |

Pet Shop of Horrors - Matsuri Akino | one of the first animes i watched when i was a teenager and absolutely one of my favorites ever, it took me a long time but i'm finally reading the manga. the ethereal and bizarre creatures of the shop, and Count D, who is weirdly lovely, i have missed all of it and it's great to go back ♡ |

Ramses: The Son of Light - Christian Jaq | a fictional romance set in ancient Egypt, it contains themes i really like (history, a bit of mythology) and the fact that the writer is an egyptologist makes things interesting. it's been an easy reading and although it's not perfect (the characters are a bit... dry, and dialogues too direct to say the least, but i'm giving it a chance and assuming that it's just a little different from what i usually read) i think i'll like (or give a chance to) the following books, just because of the themes (and because my brain hates abandoning things). |
